Deep Dive
Story and Screenplay - 1.75/2

The story and screenplay of this movie are little new and falls under untouched areas of Tamil cinema category. If you have expected 5 songs, 4 fight scenes, few jokes and some story to pass time this film is not the right place. Yes this film neither has songs nor jokes. Kamal after being impressed with sleepless night has decided to remake it for tamil audience with little changes.

Music & BGM - 0.7/1

Gibran has given a perfect fit BGM to support the movie. Though the scope for doing BGM is less in this movie has taken conscious efforts to give the best that he could with limited scope.

Cast Performance - 0.5/1

Though this film doesn’t have much scope for acting as it’s purely story/screenplay driven Kamal and Trisha have managed to establish themselves with their experience, other than this duo there is no room to comment on others performance.

Stunt, Editing and Cinematography - 0.7/1

The stunt master has given a best possible stunt scenes in a natural way like how it would be in reality, especially the kitchen fight between Trisha and Kamal is worth a mention here. Editing could have been much better with faster cuts. Cinematography is nether best nor bad but has been decent in covering the entire pub sequence.

Verdict: A once watchable slow thriller for all type of audience.

Overall: 3.65/5
